Pakistan Auto Market Extends Rebound With October Sales Up 32%

Analysts link the rebound to a steadier rupee, easier financing, fresh model launches.

Overview

  • Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association data show October 2025 sales of 17,333 cars, vans, pickups and SUVs, up 32% year on year with a 1% rise from September.
  • Cumulative sales for July through October FY2025–26 reached 59,600 units, a 46% increase from the same period a year earlier.
  • Segment performance was broadly stronger, with jeeps and pickups up 67%, trucks up 115% and buses up 59% over July–October, while two- and three-wheelers hit a near four-year high in October.
  • Pak Suzuki’s volumes fell 18% month on month after discontinuing Ravi, Bolan, Every VX and WagonR, which tempered the overall monthly gain.
  • Indus Motor led with 44% month-on-month growth; Hyundai Nishat posted 82% year-on-year growth and Honda Atlas rose 72%, while tractors showed mixed trends with an October boost from Punjab’s Green Tractor Scheme despite pressure from the 18% sales tax.
