PCB has demanded that future ICC tournaments hosted by India adopt the same hybrid model, ensuring Pakistan's matches are played at neutral venues, but this condition has not yet been accepted by the ICC or BCCI.
Pakistan also sought an increased share of ICC revenue as compensation for agreeing to the hybrid model, though this request is unlikely to gain approval from other member boards.
The Champions Trophy is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025, marking Pakistan's first ICC event hosting since 1996 despite ongoing political and security challenges.
