He claims the substance was just sunscreen, but MLB determined it was an illegal sticky substance.
Suárez is the sixth pitcher suspended this season for using banned sticky substances on the mound.
Other suspended pitchers include Max Scherzer, Domingo Germán, Héctor Santiago, Caleb Smith, and Drew Smith.
Suárez has appealed the 10-game suspension, so it is on hold until after his hearing.
