Director Paul King and actor Hugh Grant humorously addressed the single negative review that brought down the Rotten Tomatoes score of 'Paddington 2' from a perfect 100% to 99%.
The negative review was published by Film Authority in 2021, four years after the movie's release.
Timothée Chalamet, co-star in King's latest film 'Wonka', referred to 'Paddington 2' as a 'truly nearly perfect film'.
'Paddington 3', titled 'Paddington in Peru', has been officially announced with Ben Winshaw returning as the voice of Paddington, but King will not be directing.
The third installment will mark the feature directorial debut of Dougal Wilson, an award-winning commercials and music video director.
