Packers select Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford in fifth round to back up Jordan Love

Green Bay Packers selected Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford at pick No. 149 in the fifth round.
Clifford was not expected to be drafted but now has a chance to make the Packers 53-man roster as a rookie.
Clifford is expected to serve as the backup quarterback behind former first-round pick Jordan Love who is entering his first season as the starter.
Over his five-year Penn State career, Clifford threw for over 10,000 yards and 86 touchdowns.
The Packers have added new pass catchers to help Love in his first season as the starter.
