Packers' Luke Musgrave's Season in Jeopardy After Kidney Injury

Rookie tight end, close to breaking franchise records, aims for return despite severe injury.

Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave suffered a lacerated kidney during a game against the Los Angeles Chargers last month, derailing an excellent debut season.
Musgrave spent about a month on the sideline, and while he has returned to football activities, he has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Carolina.
Given the severity of the injury and the fact that only two games remain after Sunday, there's a chance Musgrave's season is over.
In 10 games, Musgrave caught 33 passes for 341 yards and one touchdown, coming close to breaking franchise records for rookie tight ends.
Despite his injury, Musgrave's goal is to return to the field as soon as possible.
