The film is co-written by Akinola Davies Jr. and his brother Wale Davies, following their BAFTA-nominated collaboration on the short film 'Lizard.'
Set in Lagos during the backdrop of the 1993 Nigerian presidential election, the story focuses on two brothers reconnecting with their estranged father over the course of a single day.
The production, developed by BBC Film and co-financed by BBC Film and the British Film Institute, was shot on location in Nigeria and features a semi-autobiographical narrative.
Mubi has pre-bought distribution rights for North America, the U.K., Ireland, and Turkey, with theatrical release plans forthcoming.
