Overview
- Candace Owens posted screenshots on Oct. 27 that she says show an April 6, 2018 exchange in which Charlie Kirk predicted he might be killed because of his Turning Point USA work.
- The texts include lines such as “If I tell you the true prophecy I know in my gut it’s really sad” and “Anyway I am not sure if I will live to see the end of this revolution.”
- In another message she shared, the person identified as Kirk wrote, “I might be Moses tho. I might not see this whole thing through lmao.”
- Career prosecutor Dr. Wendy Patrick told Fox News that Kirk may have been targeted for the reach of his message, arguing that people were listening to him.
- Kirk was shot and killed on Sept. 10 during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University, with TPUSA later reporting a 90,000–100,000-person memorial and global vigils.
