Overwatch 2 Season 9 is expected to go live on February 20, 2024, bringing a plethora of game-changing updates.
The new season will introduce a major overhaul to the Competitive system, including a new rank called Ultimate and a progression bar to replace the current win/loss system.
Tank and DPS roles will receive a new self-healing passive, and all hero health pools, including health, armor, and shields, will be increased by around 15% to 20%.
Early patch notes leaked by pro player Rupal reveal changes to every character's health and sweeping changes to gameplay, including an increase in most damage-dealing projectile sizes.
No updates have been released yet on new skins and cosmetics for Season 9's Battle Pass and store.
