Pride Event With New Map Design and Free LGBTQ Cosmetics

Overwatch 2's first Pride celebration starts on June 1st and includes new cosmetics based on LGBTQ+ flags for players to opt in to.
The Midtown map has been temporarily redesigned with decorative Pride flags and rainbow crosswalks.
Blizzard will donate proceeds from Pride-themed Overwatch merchandise to the National Center for Transgender Equality.
Overwatch 2 spotlights several queer characters like Soldier: 76, Tracer, Pharah, Baptiste and Lifeweaver with new name cards and a short story.
While the event increases queer representation in the game, some hope for more permanent additions to the game in future Pride events.
