Overview

• Gunfire broke out just after 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street in Englewood.
• Responding officers found a 38-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds who was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition.
• A 49-year-old with a leg wound later arrived at the same hospital in good condition, and two other men, 35 and 36, were treated at St. Bernard for leg wounds in good condition.
