Overview

  • The Russian defence ministry reported intercepting 55 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 12 over Voronezh, where debris caused minor injuries and damaged apartments and commercial buildings.
  • In Lipetsk’s Yelets industrial zone, Governor Igor Artamonov said a downed Ukrainian drone injured one person and damaged local facilities.
  • Earlier on July 15, Russian drones and artillery shelling in Dnipropetrovsk’s Synelnykivskyi and Nikopol communities wounded two men and two women, according to regional military head Serhiy Lysak.
  • Attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk region damaged a sports school, multi-story apartment blocks, private homes, farm buildings, a greenhouse, a gas pipeline and power lines, and sparked multiple fires.
  • Both Moscow and Kyiv deny deliberately targeting civilians even as the ongoing cross-border UAV and artillery exchanges continue to imperil residential areas.
