Over 580,000 Beds Recalled Due to Breakage and Injuries

Home Design Inc. initiates recall after reports of beds breaking, sagging, or collapsing, leading to dozens of injuries.

Over 580,000 beds from Home Design Inc. have been recalled due to reports of the beds breaking during use, resulting in dozens of injuries.
The beds were sold at major online retailers such as Wayfair, Walmart.com, and Overstock.com between July 2018 and November 2023.
Home Design Inc., based in Indiana, voluntarily initiated the recall after receiving 128 reports of the beds breaking, sagging, or collapsing, and 36 reports of injuries.
The recall covers five different types of 'tufted upholstered low profile' beds manufactured in Malaysia.
Consumers who purchased any one of the beds should immediately stop using them and contact Home Design Inc. for a free repair kit.
