Over 4,200 Homeless Individuals Counted in Greater Paris During Annual Solidarity Night

The 2025 survey reports stable numbers compared to last year, with 3,507 homeless people identified in Paris and 768 in surrounding suburbs.

The 2025 Nuit de la Solidarité identified 4,273 homeless individuals in Greater Paris, nearly unchanged from 4,276 in 2024.
In Paris alone, 3,507 people were recorded as homeless, with 768 additional individuals counted in 30 suburban communes.
Men made up over 80% of the homeless population, while women accounted for 14%, an increase from 12% the previous year.
Nearly three-quarters of homeless individuals in Paris were found on the streets, while others were located in camps, metro stations, or wooded areas.
The count excluded 337 young people occupying the Gaîté Lyrique, whom officials stated were not considered to be in traditional homelessness situations.
