Over 120 Arrested in Florida Human Trafficking Operation

- Over 120 people, including a teacher, nurse, and basketball coach, were arrested in Florida during a three-month-long human trafficking operation called 'Operation Renewed Hope'.
- The operation involved undercover detectives posing as minors available for sex and as guardians offering sexual services from children.
- Among those arrested was 39-year-old Zheng Dong, who had previously been arrested for human trafficking charges in May 2022.
- The operation was conducted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, which has arrested 604 people and charged 36 with human trafficking-related charges since its Human Trafficking Squad was launched.
- 28 victims have been rescued from human trafficking by the squad.
