Overview

• Vicente Osvaldo Cordeyro was last seen Thursday morning on Mitre Street in central Salta before disappearing.
• His vehicle was located around 9 p.m. Thursday parked in San Lorenzo, where CIF forensic teams examined it and collected samples.
• Police say security cameras show he traveled alone to San Lorenzo and there is no indication he left the area.
• The search, reactivated at 6 a.m. Friday, involves more than 100 officers, tracking dogs and mountain teams focused on Cerros Elefante, the Quebrada de San Lorenzo and local trails.
• Fiscalía Penal N°2 activated the missing-person protocol and the public is urged to report any information to 911 or the nearest police station.
