Over 100 Dead in Devastating Floods Across Rwanda

Rwanda has received heavy rains and flooding causing over 100 deaths and many missing.
The hardest hit areas were in western and northern Rwanda with 95 deaths in the Western Province and 14 in the Northern Province.
Rescue and relief efforts are underway but continue to be hampered by more rain.
The Rwanda Meteorology Agency predicts above average rainfall to continue in May.
The death toll is expected to rise as flooding and landslides have damaged infrastructure and displaced communities.
