• Capital Pride announced on Instagram just before 3 p.m. that the parade was cancelled after the march was halted near Parliament Hill.
• Queers for Palestine — Ottawa blocked Wellington Street and said it stopped the parade with the grand marshal’s permission, a claim the group made in its release.
