Overview
- Fifteen federally and provincially funded broadband projects worth $77 million will bring high-speed Internet to over 6,900 households, including more than 1,200 Indigenous homes.
- An additional $7 million will support three projects in Spallumcheen (Splatsin First Nation) and Hullcar to connect 727 households and provide cellular service along 120 km of roadway.
- These investments are part of the 2022 Connecting Communities BC partnership under the Universal Broadband Fund, raising total funding in the latest round to over $84 million.
