Oswego Weighs Storefront Barriers After Portillo’s Crash Kills Toddler

Officials will study installing bollards to shield storefronts from similar crashes.

Overview

  • A vehicle driven by a 50-year-old woman plowed into the front entrance of Portillo’s at 2810 Route 34 on July 30 at 1:55 p.m., killing a 2-year-old boy and injuring 14 patrons.
