Ostrich Escapes South Korean Zoo, Causes Traffic Havoc

The male ostrich, named Tadori, escaped due to loneliness after the death of his mate, leading to a dramatic chase through Seongnam.

Tadori, a four-year-old male ostrich, escaped from Bug City zoo in Seongnam, South Korea, causing a stir as he ran through busy traffic.
The ostrich was safely recaptured about an hour later in a parking lot, approximately 1.6 miles from the zoo, using a net.
The escape was attributed to Tadori's loneliness following the death of his mate, Tasuni, about a month ago.
Witnesses captured the moment on video, showing Tadori dodging vehicles and at one point colliding with a box truck before continuing his escape.
The zoo owner reported that Tadori is now safely back in his enclosure and recovering.
