OSIPTEL: LimaCallao Mobile Quality Averages 87.82% in H1 2025 as Claro Leads

The regulator used field tests with operator data to compare 50 districts across four carriers.

  • Average mobile voice and data performance reached 87.82% for January–June 2025, up 8.92 percentage points from a year earlier.
  • San Borja led district results at 92.37%, followed by Punta Hermosa at 92.33% and Breña at 92.20%, with twelve districts surpassing 90%.
  • Lowest-scoring districts included Mi Perú at 79.01%, Ancón at 80.81% and Lurín at 82.37%, with Villa El Salvador at 83.55% and Pucusana at 83.89%.
  • By operator, Claro posted the top quality index at 92.89%, ahead of Bitel at 89.67% after rising from last to second, with Movistar at 87.29% and Entel at 81.30%.
  • Average 4G performance measured 30.17 Mbps download and 23.96 Mbps upload, with Lince peaking at 49.57 Mbps for Bitel and Mi Perú at a low of 14.01 Mbps for Movistar.
