Osbournes Make Surprise Visit to Pumpkin Mural Honoring Ozzy at Sunnyfields Farm

A community-built tribute chosen by public vote draws fans to Sunnyfields Farm through October.

Overview

  • Sharon, Jack and Kelly Osbourne visited the Totton, Hampshire display on Saturday evening, with Sharon and Jack viewing the artwork from a cherry picker.
  • Kelly was joined by her fiancé, Slipknot musician Sid Wilson, and their son, Sidney, during the family’s rare public outing.
  • The mural depicting Ozzy’s face uses more than 10,000 pumpkins and squashes and was assembled by 16 people in roughly four to four-and-a-half hours.
  • Sunnyfields Farm says about 70% of public voters selected Ozzy for this year’s design, which has been on show since October 4 and remains until the end of the month.
  • Ozzy Osbourne died on July 22, with his death certificate citing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest caused by a heart attack, coronary artery disease and complications related to Parkinson’s disease.
