Orville Peck to Perform Unmasked in Broadway's 'Cabaret' Revival

Orville Peck, known for his masked persona in the alt-country music scene, will perform unmasked for the first time in his career during his Broadway debut in 'Cabaret.'
Peck will take on the role of the Emcee, a pivotal character in the musical set in a Berlin nightclub during the rise of the Nazi party.
The production, starring Eva Noblezada as Sally Bowles, will run from March 31 to July 20 at the August Wilson Theatre, replacing the current cast led by Adam Lambert and Auli‘i Cravalho.
Peck stated that removing his mask for the role reflects his commitment to honoring the character and the production, which he described as his favorite musical of all time.
Despite this unmasking on stage, Peck's face may remain largely unknown to fans due to Broadway's restrictions on audience photography.
