• On July 25, staff at the Orleans Justice Center confused Khalil Bryan with another inmate sharing his surname and failed to verify his identity before processing his release.
• The Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office fired two deputies for a “severe breach of duty and process” and suspended five additional staff members for procedural failures.
