Orlando Magic Elevates Alex Martins to Vice Chair and Names Ryan DeVos Managing Director

Ryan DeVos will become managing director to lead daily operations, with Cole DeVos set to join the executive team

  • Alex Martins will step down as CEO on July 1, 2025, and transition into a newly created vice chair role overseeing strategic initiatives.
  • Ryan DeVos, grandson of late owner Rich DeVos, will assume day-to-day leadership as managing director under President Jeff Weltman.
  • Cole DeVos is relocating to Orlando to join the Magic’s management team at the start of the 2025-26 season.
  • During his 14-year tenure, Martins drove major community projects including the OneOrlando Fund and steered the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation to award over $30 million to local nonprofits.
  • Martins also led development of the Kia Center and AdventHealth Training Center and grew the franchise’s business operations despite limited playoff success.
