Orlando International Airport Greenlights 13 New Restaurants in Next Concessions Phase
The additions advance MCO’s $5.9 billion modernization with first openings targeted for 2026.
Overview
- The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority approved the second phase on Nov. 19, adding 13 tenants to Terminals A and B under 10-year leases valued at roughly $5.9 million.
- The lineup blends national, regional, and local brands, including Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack, Starbucks, Panda Express, Einstein Bros Bagels, Piggza, Bricks & Bowls, Crisp & Green, Just Love Coffee Cafe, Naya Middle Eastern Counter & Grill, and Sambazon.
- Construction is underway across more than 200,000 square feet of redeveloped concession space, with the first locations expected to open in 2026.
- This phase follows a 2024 approval that brought about 40 new tenants to the North Terminal as part of the airport’s multi-year concessions overhaul.
- Separately, a $253 million Gate Link Replacement Project begins Dec. 3 to replace tram vehicles and track serving Gates 70–129 and Terminals A and B, with completion expected by 2027.
