Overview
- Orlando International Airport confirmed a phased replacement of Gate Link vehicles, tracks, and electrical control equipment to improve long-term reliability.
- Work on Gates 100–129 is scheduled from December 2025 to December 2026, affecting Avelo and Southwest flights.
- Work on Gates 70–99 is scheduled from December 2026 to October 2027, affecting Air Canada, Air Transat, Bahamasair, BermudAir, Delta, Flair, Frontier, LATAM, Southwest, Spirit, Sun Country, Viva, Volaris, and WestJet flights.
- Each Gate Link vehicle will be taken out of service in succession, limiting capacity, and some passengers will be transported between gate areas by bus.
- MCO says to follow directional signage and airport ambassadors, noting the current system has logged over 5 million passenger miles.
