Orioles Sign Reliever Andrew Kittredge to $10 Million, One-Year Deal

The veteran right-hander strengthens Baltimore's bullpen after a strong 2024 season with the Cardinals.

Andrew Kittredge, 34, agreed to a $10 million, one-year contract with the Baltimore Orioles, including a $9 million team option for 2026 with a $1 million buyout.
Kittredge posted a 2.80 ERA across 70 2/3 innings in 2024, his first full season back after Tommy John surgery in 2022, and ranked among MLB leaders in appearances with 74 games.
Known for his slider, which held hitters to a .177 batting average and generated elite chase rates, Kittredge adds late-inning reliability to the Orioles' bullpen.
Baltimore's bullpen is set to improve further with the anticipated return of closer Félix Bautista, who missed last season due to Tommy John surgery.
The Orioles have been active in free agency, signing several players to one-year deals, including Charlie Morton and Gary Sánchez, while also committing to a three-year deal with outfielder Tyler O’Neill.
