Orioles Recall Power Hitter Kyle Stowers, Option Heston Kjerstad to Triple-A

Stowers returns to the majors after a strong performance in Triple-A, while Kjerstad heads back to Norfolk following limited playing time.

Kyle Stowers, known for his power hitting, rejoins the Orioles after hitting 11 home runs in 36 games for Triple-A Norfolk.
Stowers was previously sent down on Mother's Day last year and finds himself recalled on the same occasion this year.
Heston Kjerstad, the Orioles' No. 4 prospect, was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk after going 2-for-14 in 17 games with Baltimore.
Austin Hays has been reinstated from the injured list, adding to the competition in the Orioles' outfield.
Stowers made his MLB debut in 2022 and has struggled with injuries but showcased his potential during Spring Training.
