Original 'Willy Wonka' Stars Join Edinburgh Fringe Parody Musical

Julie Dawn Cole and Paris Themmen return to narrate a stage reading inspired by a failed Glasgow event.

The musical parody, Willy's Candy Spectacular, will run from August 9-26 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Cole and Themmen, who played Veruca Salt and Mike Teevee in the 1971 film, will narrate the show on different dates.
The show is based on a widely criticized Glasgow event that promised a magical experience but disappointed attendees.
The cast includes Kirsty Paterson, known as the Sad Oompa Loompa from the Glasgow event, and several other notable performers.
Producers Richard Kraft and Andy Fickman have assembled a team of top songwriters and a talented cast for the production.
