The scripts, found in a trash can in 1998, were for the two-part Season 4 finale, 'The One with Ross's Wedding
- Two original scripts from the television series Friends, found in a trash can at Fountain Studios, Wembley UK in 1998, have sold at auction for around $28,000 to an international buyer.
- The scripts were for the two-part Season 4 finale, 'The One with Ross's Wedding', which were set and filmed in the UK and featured Ross's (David Schwimmer) ill-fated wedding to Emily.
- The auction house, Hanson Ross, reported that there were 219 pre-sale bids placed from all over the world and that bidders went 'crazy' for the scripts.
- It is unclear who the scripts originally belonged to among the cast and crew.
- Friends, which ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004, has seen a resurgence in popularity since the death of cast member Matthew Perry in 2023.
