Original 'Friends' Scripts Sell for $28,000 at Auction

Two original scripts from the television series Friends, found in a trash can at Fountain Studios, Wembley UK in 1998, have sold at auction for around $28,000 to an international buyer.
The scripts were for the two-part Season 4 finale, 'The One with Ross's Wedding', which were set and filmed in the UK and featured Ross's (David Schwimmer) ill-fated wedding to Emily.
The auction house, Hanson Ross, reported that there were 219 pre-sale bids placed from all over the world and that bidders went 'crazy' for the scripts.
It is unclear who the scripts originally belonged to among the cast and crew.
Friends, which ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004, has seen a resurgence in popularity since the death of cast member Matthew Perry in 2023.
