Colin Burgess, the original drummer for the rock band AC/DC, has died at the age of 77.
Burgess joined AC/DC in 1973 but was fired in 1974 for allegedly performing while intoxicated.
Before joining AC/DC, Burgess played with the Australian rock group The Masters Apprentices, which was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame in 1998.
No cause of death has been provided.
AC/DC confirmed Burgess' death on their social media, expressing sadness over his passing and acknowledging his contributions to the band.
