Overview

  • The Cram Fire has scorched more than 95,740 acres across Jefferson and Wasco counties and is closing in on the 100,000-acre mark that would classify it as a megafire.
  • Federal and state agencies continue to treat the blaze as the nation’s top wildfire incident, deploying over 930 firefighters, 88 engines and eight helicopters.
  • Containment has increased from 49% to 73% after weekend weather shifts, allowing officials to release some structure protection teams.
  • The fire has destroyed four homes and two other structures, and evacuation orders remain in effect across Jefferson, Wasco and Crook counties.
