• The Oregon Zoo said Tuesday that Nora will move to Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison later this fall, with a farewell date still to be set.
• In Madison, caretakers will introduce Nora first to 26-year-old Berit before a planned meeting with a male in hopes of cubs.
• The zoo confirmed that Kallik, born at the Toledo Zoo in 2022 and now at the St. Louis Zoo, is expected in Portland this fall to occupy the renovated habitat.
• Officials described Kallik as energetic, playful and curious, and said future pairings for him and his twin Kallu have not been determined.
