Oregon extends football coach Lanning's contract through 2028

Oregon has extended football coach Dan Lanning's contract through 2028.
Lanning received a raise, with his annual base salary increasing from $4.7 million to $7 million.
The contract extension was unanimously approved by the University of Oregon Board of Trustees.
Lanning led Oregon to a 10-3 record in his first season as head coach.
The initial contract buyout is set at $20 million.
