Overview
- The active recall covers only batch code SP/001639/058/17.03.25 of Jungle Heads & Tails, with retailers saying other batches and Orchard Toys products are unaffected.
- OPSS says the toy fails the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 because a removable cardboard disc is a small part that could be swallowed by young children.
- Customers are told to stop using the game immediately, keep it away from children, and either return it to Sainsbury’s or Argos for a refund or follow Orchard Toys’ claims process.
- Orchard Toys is offering a £20 voucher with free delivery or a £9.50 refund once customers submit the box flap showing the batch code as proof of purchase.
- The recall was issued just before Christmas and Orchard Toys reports no injuries to date.
