Overview

- Córdoba faces yellow alerts for two windows: mountain winds of 50–70 km/h with gusts over 120 km/h from 15:00–20:59, then nighttime storms from 21:00–08:59 with 20–50 mm of rain and locally 60–80 mm.
- La Rioja is under a yellow wind alert from 15:00–20:59, with cordillera winds of 50–70 km/h and gusts over 120 km/h, and northern-sector winds of 40–60 km/h with gusts over 70 km/h in adjacent areas.
- Chubut and Río Negro have yellow thunderstorm alerts for the night period, with locally strong cells bringing frequent lightning, gusts up to 60 km/h, possible hail and 10–40 mm of rainfall with isolated higher totals.
- Mendoza’s contingency office reports the front will bring storms, possible hail and high-mountain snow, with unstable conditions expected to continue through the weekend and calls for precautionary measures such as protecting vehicles.
