Optoma Unveils Photon Go, a Portable Triple-Laser UST Projector

The Photon Go offers 1080p visuals, built-in Google TV, and portability with a compact design and integrated battery.

Optoma has introduced the Photon Go, a portable ultra-short-throw (UST) projector featuring a triple-laser RGB light source for vibrant and accurate colors.
Despite its 650-lumen brightness rating, the projector uses laser technology to produce visuals that appear brighter than traditional projectors with similar specs.
The Photon Go supports 1080p resolution, can project up to a 100-inch screen from less than 10 inches away, and includes auto keystone correction and autofocus for easy setup.
Integrated Google TV provides access to popular streaming services like Netflix and YouTube, while dual 10-watt Dolby Audio speakers offer onboard sound.
The projector includes a built-in battery for 1.5 hours of wireless use and is priced at €999/£899, with availability starting in April 2025 in Europe and the UK; US pricing is yet to be confirmed.
