Overview

• The Preliminary test will be held on October 12 in two sessions: 10:00–12:00 for General Studies Paper I and 13:30–15:30 for Paper II.
• Exam centres are spread across six zones: Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jeypore and Sambalpur.
• Persons with disabilities receive 40 extra minutes per sitting, extending the sessions to 12:40 and 16:10 respectively.
• The prelims comprise two compulsory objective papers of 200 marks each with negative marking of one-third per wrong answer except where specified.
• The recruitment seeks to fill 200 Odisha Civil Services posts in the 2024 cycle.
