Oprah Winfrey denies seriously proposing 2020 presidential run with Mitt Romney

Oprah Winfrey called Mitt Romney in late 2019 to encourage him to run as an independent presidential candidate.
Accounts differ on whether Winfrey proposed the two run together on a unity ticket or just wanted Romney to run alone.
Romney declined the proposal out of concern it could help re-elect President Donald Trump.
