Oppo Teases Launch of World’s Thinnest Foldable Smartphone

The Oppo Find N5, expected to debut in February, aims to surpass the Honor Magic V3 in thinness and may arrive globally as the OnePlus Open 2.

Oppo's Chief Product Officer Pete Lau has teased the upcoming Find N5 on Weibo, showcasing its ultra-thin design, reportedly slimmer than a pencil.
The Find N5 is expected to challenge the Honor Magic V3's title as the thinnest foldable phone, which measures 4.4mm unfolded and 9.2mm folded.
Rumored specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a Hasselblad-backed triple camera system, and a large battery nearing 6,000mAh capacity.
The device is set to launch in China in February and may debut globally as the OnePlus Open 2, continuing Oppo and OnePlus's shared hardware strategy.
The Find N5 will feature a new industrial design with a focus on durability, possibly including IPX8 splash resistance and satellite communication support.
