Oppo Find N5 Sets New Standard as World’s Thinnest Foldable Smartphone

The upcoming foldable boasts a nearly crease-free display, advanced waterproofing, and cutting-edge hardware, but U.S. release remains uncertain.

The Oppo Find N5, set to launch globally in two weeks, features a 4.2mm unfolded thickness, making it the slimmest foldable phone to date.
Its nearly crease-free display addresses a long-standing issue in foldable smartphones, although long-term durability remains to be seen.
The device will include IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 waterproofing, a first for foldables, as well as a titanium alloy hinge for added durability.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the Find N5 will support 50W wireless charging and reverse charging capabilities.
While it is expected to launch globally, the Find N5 is unlikely to be directly available in the U.S., where it may be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
