Overview
- The four-day engagement ended on July 23 in Kochi and involved 276 personnel from 27 countries supported by 76 facilitators and subject matter experts.
- The Indian Navy ran the programme in partnership with the Combined Maritime Forces under the aegis of Southern Naval Command and the Indian-led Combined Task Force 154.
- Classroom lessons, simulator modules and at-sea drills covered maritime domain awareness, maritime law, counter-narcotics, force protection, asymmetric threats, maritime uncrewed systems and operational sea training.
- Participants received hands-on instruction in damage control, firefighting, maritime communications, survival at sea and boarding procedures and completed about 3,800 training man-hours.
- Organisers said the event strengthened interoperability and professional networks, reinforced the India–CMF partnership, and highlighted Southern Naval Command as a preferred regional training hub.
