  • Over two lakh pilgrims have undertaken the 38-day Yatra in 11 days since its July 3 launch, with 17,317 devotees paying obeisance on July 13 alone.
  • More than 8,500 soldiers under Operation Shiva are deployed across the Baltal and Pahalgam routes, integrating a dynamic counter-terrorism grid and engineer task forces.
  • A counter-UAS network of over 50 C-UAS and EW systems complemented by daily UAV surveillance maintains continuous aerial oversight of the 3,880-metre cave shrine.
  • CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel escort around 6,000 pilgrims daily from Jammu’s Bhagwati Nagar base camp via 14-km Baltal and 48-km Pahalgam tracks.
  • Dedicated medical teams of over 150 doctors operate two advanced dressing stations, nine aid posts, a 100-bed hospital and 26 oxygen booths to address high-altitude health risks.
