Overview

• The recent launch follows a June introduction of Record Mode for Team, Enterprise and Education users on macOS.
• Record Mode listens locally to system and microphone audio without joining calls, making it compatible with any conferencing platform.
• After each session, the app uploads recordings to OpenAI’s servers to generate structured summaries, key points, action items and follow-up questions.
• Each session is limited to 120 minutes and the original audio is automatically deleted once transcription is complete.
