Overview

  • Deliveries of the six-seat L90 start on August 1, with seven-seat models due in late September and a five-seat L80 variant slated for next quarter.
  • Onvo sold out its initial 10,000 showroom units in under three hours and has drawn an estimated 30,000–35,000 pre-orders, according to Morgan Stanley.
  • Built on a 900V electric platform, the L90 offers rear- or all-wheel drive with up to 440 kW output, a 35-inch AR head-up display, multiple touchscreens and a CLTC range of up to 605 km.
  • US-listed Nio shares jumped over 9% on July 31 to around $4.90, reflecting investor confidence in the L90’s market potential.
  • CEO William Li said the L90’s strong early demand will underpin Nio’s push for Q4 2025 profitability, targeting 25,000 monthly Onvo deliveries in the final quarter.
