  • Ontario Provincial Police seized a force-record 43.5 kilograms of fentanyl in two probes under Project Golden and Project Bionic, enough for 435,000 street doses valued at $5.4 million.
  • Peel Regional Police’s Project Pelican resulted in the seizure of 479 kilograms of cocaine worth $47.9 million, marking the largest cocaine bust in service history.
  • Combined operations led to 28 arrests and charges ranging from drug trafficking to firearms offences across southern Ontario.
  • Investigations relied on collaboration with Canada Border Services Agency, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and RCMP to track drugs via commercial trucking routes and dark web marketplaces.
