Police are investigating the fatal collision northeast of London involving an SUV, a transport truck, and a second SUV, which left five dead and others with minor injuries.

  • All five victims, including four teenage girls aged 16 and 17 and a 33-year-old teacher, were in the first SUV involved in the collision.

  • The victims were returning to Walkerton District Community School from a sporting event; the school board and local organizations are providing mental health support and grief counseling.
  • Ontario Provincial Police have reopened the intersection and are seeking dash-cam footage or witness accounts as part of their ongoing investigation.
