ONS Publishes November 2025 Regional Labour Market Statistics

Overview

• The release provides headline indicators for UK countries and English regions covering employment, unemployment, economic inactivity, workers' hours, jobs and the Claimant Count.
• Region-specific datasets span the HI series, including an all-regions overview (HI00) and detailed files for areas such as London, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
• Constituency and local authority Claimant Count datasets are included and are designated as official statistics in development.
• Age and sex breakdowns of employment, unemployment and economic inactivity are published via the X01–X03 series, with some estimates not seasonally adjusted.
• The package includes a sampling variability and revisions summary (S02) to help users interpret volatility in the rolling three-month figures released each month.
